Sources of information are not in short supply, however not all are equal. The Apostle Paul, on visiting Berea, commended its inhabitants because they checked his words against the Hebrew scriptures. He said “these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.” (Acts 17:11 WEB)
