Collection of personal data

The Upper Room will eventually allow users to register their own personal profiles, parts of which they will be able to make available to other users. However, at present no personal data is collected. The Upper Room is only accessible via the link on the main menu so the rest of the site can be used without any concern that personal data might be collected.

Use of personal data

Apart from deliberate self disclosure by an author, it is this sites policy only to publish personal data if one of the following apply:

• it is already in the public domain;
• its publication has been explicitly approved by the individual concerned.

In the latter case this might, for example, be because it comes from:

• an autobiography;
• a published author profile;
• the individual’s personal or professional web site.
