Jesus, has taught on the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth commandments. Now, turning to the tenth, he presents some extended teaching on personal attitudes to possessions.
Talk of treasure, money, gifts, food and clothing is all clearly related to this theme. However, in some cases Jesus uses figures of speech (such as eyes and planks or pearls and swine) that need a bit of interpreting in order to see how they fit in with the overall theme.
